The Jolly Farmer in Warsash has been a pub since 1835 and though it has recently undergone a major refurbishment, its traditional feel has been preserved with its original oak beams, an open fireplace and quirky corners.
Warsash itself is situated on the River Hamble on the beautiful South Coast and was once the haunt of smugglers and press gangs. The village identity has been retained, yet Warsash is easily accessible from the M27 and is just a short 20 minute drive away from Southampton International Airport.
Our owners, Sarah and Frank Cooper, are locals themselves and took over ownership in November 2014, creating a beautiful pub where visitors can relax and enjoy the superb home-cooked food and refreshments on offer. Their aim has been to provide a family-friendly environment with entertainment for children in the garden area, as well as a new patio area for alfresco dining on warm summer’s evenings.
