Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon listening to a really good live band ( Fat Chance). I have been to this pub a couple of times and always found it busy with an excellent welcoming atmosphere which Ithink speaks for itself.

Good beer based local, plenty of space, friendly staff, but not a destination to go out of my way for.
Popped in here for quick pint whilst my partner was visiting an elderly family member in one of the local homes. The bar staff were friendly and the lager I had was cold and refreshing! The beer garden was great for the kids and had shade enough to keep out of the sun, if so wished. A good, honest pub with plenty of clientele . It was pleasantly busy when I visited.
Great local bar with a jukebox and a pool table. There's an outside area for kids as well and they are very accommodating for children. New landlord who has changed the vibe of the bar recently from it's old dim and gloomy status.
