3 times I sent onion bahjis back as stone cold...use probes to check temp for gods sake that is the correct procedure. Shouldn't be sending back all the time ,plus the reason given was oh but we understaffed...that is the worst reason ever.. I'm a chef of 30+ years and am disgusted by this.
More a drinkers pub with a high level of noise from them. Not that pleasant as we had to shout to hear each other. Food was good and service quick and efficient but I think we'll give it a miss next time.
Quick and easy to order. Drinks delicious. Plenty of choice. Staff very friendly. Pepperoni hot of death of doom, but tasty. Chairs hold up no matter what the weight. Highly recommended.
Always a lovely pub to visit, have not eaten there as of yet but have been on multiple occasions for a drink or to meet some people. Very easily located and close to the train station. Staff were happy (even though I was there at opening time ) lovely surprise with the atmosphere as apposed to what I’ve experienced in some of the surrounding pubs in the area. Will be going back without a doubt.
It's not my favourite spoons in the area. I had a pint of Shipyard, which was quite good. Very few folks in here, making the atmosphere seem rather sombre.

Pompey Pub and the only HOME FANS ONLY pub on match-days, great atmosphere and range of drinks. Family ran and based on old school values this is also a thriving music venue. www.thefroddy.com
