Ordered a ‘Too Good to Go’ bag, excited to find out what was in it. Upon arrival, our excitement was short lived as we were greeted disappointingly with bags no longer available. Reasoning was that they no longer perform ‘line cleaning’, does this mean they never clean their lines? Extremely worrying as a health and safety expert in this field. Furthermore, the male that gave us this dreadful news acted rudely and failed to apologise. Will not be returning.

Poor service. Couldn’t take our order because of a ‘big’ table/party. Probably a table of 8 max. Bearing in mind the rest of the pub was dead. Advertises that they show live sport. Asked numerous times to turn the TVs on and never did. Lots of headless chickens running around doing nothing.

Decent pub with good beer but chefs intimidate bar staff to closing food orders before 8pm despite menus stating food is served until then. I tried to order at 7:30pm but the bar staff had to check 3/4 times before confirming I'm not able to order any food. Avoid if you want food, but come if you'd like a beer. They also put the sport on TV now.

I booked a table for 20 and the service was fantastic. Each member of staff was incredibly friendly and they came over multiple times to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We added some food to the order as we arrived and they were very accomodating and added to the order no problem. The food was lovely - all cooked by a single chef who was fantastic cooking food for the entire party. There was a good amount of options available for the vegetarian and vegan members of our party. The place is also dog friendly and at least four different members of staff offered our dogs water bowls and dog biscuits. We would definitely come again and recommend this place to anyone else interested!
