Songs of the Sea is back for 2015!
Running over two days, the festival is free and will feature some of the best Island folk and acoustic musicians, with a huge range of music from sea shanties to skiffle, didgeridoos to blues. Taking place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, this year the festival will coincide with International Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th. Festival goers are encouraged to come dressed as a pirate, smuggler or wrecker as The Spyglass Inn attempt to have the most people dressed as a pirate in a pub on International Talk like a Pirate Day! Profits raised from The Spyglass Inn Songs of the Sea Festival will go to local RNLI charities.
