Love this place. Real pub for real people
Excellent pub with Heather providing friendly chat and good bar service to locals and visitors alike. Locals were friendly too.
The Star Inn is a friendly local pub overlooking the harbour in Stornoway. It has a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. At the time of writing, it doesn't serve meals but has a selection of bar snacks.

The bartender by the name of Joanne is a thorn in the foot of this establishment. Turning away faithful patrons on biased and prejudiced notions of her own volition. She is wildly discriminatory and should have no place working in the service industry. I am shocked that the Star would hire such a controversial figure, loathed by many locals. And her treatment of tourists and foreigners is appalling. Please do better.
