Room very good at first glance. It's been done to a very good standard but there's a lot of small breakages about. Shower outer knob broken off, bedside lamp switch loose circuit, ceiling light partly unhooked, sash windows very difficult to fully clip shut. There's a great amount of goodies including bottled water, biscuits, hot chocolate sachets as well as the usual. Room 101 is to be avoided as there's the street noise on one side (only because windows can't fully clasp shut) but also 2 staff rooms either side of the 101s entrance door seemingly always being banged shut. Thank goodness I had earplugs

Make Sure you have ear plugs because our room was next to staff entrance only and they loved to chat outside the room 101 so I ended up putting the do not disturb sign on the door! The shower on off know had no cover, the lounge area for tea coffee etc was extremely dark , the usb plugs weren't near the beds . The room was lovely and big and clean the bed was comfy with chose of pillows , noisy outside due to Saturday night but that's to be expected in the centre of a city /town areas

THE absaolute worst breakfast I've ever had! WARM orange juice, a hard ball of beans, greasy half cooked bacon, a hash brown swimming in oil and looks dirty. Just BAD!!!!!

Haven't stayed in the hotel itself, usually just a rendezvous for me and my friends. Drinks are fairly fair and affordable, and food is passable since they're the only pub/bars still served food until 11 pm. Staff are mostly friendly and polite.

A spacious, clean, warm room with all you need. Huge bed. teas, coffees, water, etc. provided. One issue is to be careful with the shower curtain as it needs to be pulled right over to the showerside or water leaks onto the floor. Very central location. Could be noisy in corridors. Breakfasted in pub downstairs which was very reasonable. Would stay again.
