Great pub and music but bearded barman decided to take it upon himself to get us thrown out (both male and female and not youngsters). Actually instigated possible incident by hitting one of the party on the back of the head then running and getting door men to throw us out
A mainstay of the live music scene in Inverness. Our visit was on a Wednesday evening. Part of a works night out. On our timeline this was sandwiched between the Highlander and Foxes. Excellent tunes and champions league on the box too. Jamie Cormie was an absolute hero holding our kitty. No waiting, no mistakes shots a plenty. No only is he good, but he's handsome too.
We didn't eat, so I can't comment or mark that. The staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was excellent as live music was on offer. These lads were really good. Great mix of clientele. Best pub around the area by far, so it's definitely worth a visit!
This pub was so much fun. For a Sunday night in Inverness I highly recommend it, live music, fun cocktail shots, service can be a bit slow but it's a very busy bar and a wait I'd a bit expected.
Nice place, the first impression is WOW but then you see the reception desk, which was well worn and tacky looking. It made me look for other faults. Really liked the leisure facilities, especially the outdoor hot tub and sauna. The bar area felt very welcoming and comfortable, 2 roaring coal fires. On a negative note the bar person had to hunt for a wine menu! Food was nice, although I had to ask for tge sourdough which was ment to accompany the prawn starter. Breakfast was nice, I didn't like the tea and the waitress changed it, no issue. Service was good. The beverage tray in the room was outstanding, really enjoyed tasting the various teas and the Tunnocks tea cakes/wafers.
