My son stayed here he come to visit me.but the room was under a pub and you can hear the traffic outside loud and the the pub .the room was clean but they had carpet in the bathroom.
Please god don't stay on a Saturday. They do a disco and it's soo loud it's impossible to sleep. Room was really comfortable and clean, staff were lovely, breakfast was top notch.
The sign outside says hot and cold rolls all day, serving light lunches and other foods. Go in at lunchtime - we don't do food at this time.
Friendly people, not really a Bistro, more like traditional old pub serving pub grub. Bit disappointed with the choices of food available, but what we ate was cooked well. My partner did go to the toilet, which he did say needed the floor mopping because it was soaked with urine.
We attended a local wedding venue and had an overnight stay. Room small, no heating. No hot water either in the evening or in the morning. TV was not working - nothing more to say. Not good value for money. The breakfast was good and the hosts were friendly.

A fine 400-year- old timber-framed building, with a more modern frontage, recently rescued from decay and closure under Pubco ownership. It has been renovated with a central bar and bare wood floor. Pool table at the rear.
