Yesterday ,I visite Hunter's Tryst with my family. The food was nice, but what made me write this review was our waiter. Kenneth was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it's not easy with our kids but he was very patient with us. He recommended us what to eat and drink and answered all the questions what the kids had. He deserves a credit for this.
Very dissappointing. Food so dry. The garnish was revolting. They wouldn’t let our child have a dessert even though it’s part of the “deal” because it wasn’t ordered at the time of the main. Considering it has no price on the menu I don’t see how it would be difficult to let him have some. Don’t waste your money.
Popped in for a few drinks and light snack of nachos , good fast service and Kenneth is a hoot at the bar , very good addition to the senior team as assistant manager at the hunterstryst
Food was decent but was lacking some flavour. The chips were nicer than many places. Quite cheap for such a nice place
Review update Oct 2023. Unfortunately back to poor experience. Our last two visits were very disappointing. The staff at the bar is friendly but the overall management is wrong. Waited 1 hour 30 min for our food… lots of table were served before us even though arrived 30, 40 min after us. Poor kitchen management. Our local spot. We've been regularly visiting for the last three years. We noticed a significant improvement over the last few months. We like the food options, great prices, good kids' menu. It's a family-friendly pub. It's spacious and cosy. They did redo the interior, and looks even better now. We also enjoy the outside terrace. Spacious and sunny. Free parking on site. They organise quizzes and live music.
