Holly is the most polite and welcoming barmaid i have had serve me, she catered to every need and question and went above and beyond to keep her customers happy, great member of staff of here x

We stopped in for a quick drink and the outside decor and inside decor is quite nice. The customer service on the other hand was not. We were not acknowledged straight away and it wasn't busy as the barmaid that is on, was pre occupied talking with I believe friends. We were greeted with her lifting her head but not saying a word, I ordered drinks and she looked as though I had offended her with ordering. She poured the drinks and handed them to us, the only words spoken were ice? And cash or card, I said card, there was no interaction as she brought the card machine over and no thank you as she walked away chatting to her friends. Not somewhere I will be coming again especially if this is the customer service you receive and it didn't set a nice atmosphere to what looks like a nice pub
The hull cheese (formally The Paragon, a hull brewery pub) is comfortable very popular town centre bar. There is a wide choice of beers but sadly no cask conditioned real ale. Like a lot of town centre pubs now it has wooden floors a passion for battleship grey paint and outside seating which for some strange reason seems very popular, sitting by a busy road breathing in diesel fumes is not my idea of a good time. The staff are very friendly and welcoming it's as good as any other town centre pub.
Good music 80's and selection of beers £10.50 for two pints Madei but becaredul mens toilets a massive let down smelly and disgusting
