We've been here several times for coffee or breakfast and always loved it. This weekend we had a big Sunday roast for all our family after a Christening service (24 adults plus kids). The food was incredible, the planning of the meal was so easy, it was incredibly priced, and the service was excellent. The team made a great space for us all. There were lots of little touches that show that the owners understand catering for a big family group, like making sure the kids all get food brought out ASAP so they don't get hangry while waiting for adult food orders. Would not hesitate to book again for a family event (and will remain regulars for coffee and breakfast!).
Had a lovely last minute lunch here today. Our food was lovely. My burger was excellent and the fishcake was made fresh and delicious! Such a friendly welcome from our waitress and great to have such a casual local restaurant where you can pop by and be welcomed. It also looks lovely, light and airy since the refresh recently. Recommend. Support local!
Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed in this cafe😔 Service was ok, however food & drinks were less than average, pancakes were quite terrible to be honest - felt like if they were bought from frozen and then slightly heated up… Not the place we would be back… The terrace probably was the best part of the experience.
Lovely vibe, super bright and opens style. They’re still part way through refurb so it’ll only get better from here. Nice covered outdoor seating too!
Great location and wonderful service! But - we had breakfast and it was quite low quality in terms of ingredients (Tesco-like bread slices) and very average in presentation. Won't be coming back for food soon.
