Called in for a quick drink on a winter evening. Friendly staff and good real ale. Comfortable interior. A good 'local" pub.
Fantastic hog roast on bank holiday. Home made cakes, brownies n dog biscuits. Seriously superior service, warm friendly welcome. Nothing too much trouble
we went especially for the Hog roast seen advertised but was very disappointed, the meat was very fatty and not cooked how we would of preferred it. We were also expecting more of a fun atmosphere. A Cute little local pub though which you can tell draws in local regulars. Staff were very friendly
I have started coming here lately, and the staff are really friendly and welcoming especially one in particular Chloe, she always lifts my mood. They do a mean pork pie I would recommend that if you come here, they are really addictive so be careful haha.. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing and I would recommend coming here :), Charlie is a big fan of the pork pies too!
What a perfect Christmas lunch served to us by the lovely bunch at horse and jockey! Our tables were set so festively...even including a christmas-cracker dog chew for all the dogs!!
