Large roadside pub with a traditional public bar which has large screen TV's for sporting events, a lounge with open fire that is popular with diners and a separate upstairs function room which has a pool table and is served from its own bar. The rare ceramic bar counter in the public bar is one of only 15 remaining in the whole of the UK. The Victorian back bar fitting is also particularly impressive.

Visited for Sunday Lunch. The staff were very friendly & the food choices were Beef, Pork, Chicken & Wood Pigeon. Each choice came with quite a selection of vegetables & extra gravy. The cauliflower cheese came in a separate dish too. The food itself was very tasty, properly warm (not too hot), & plenty of it. The cost was very reasonable (£9.50 - Sept 2023) for the dinner. I'd recommend this pub for good food & friendly atmosphere.
Been for Sunday dinner it was lovely the owner & the staff were very welcoming & friendly will be coming again well worth the visit
Called in here today after going to Pizza Hut and finding out they no longer accept cash and you have to pay via phone. I don't have that facility so i took my custom just up the road to the new Horse and Jockey, which we've been meaning to try for a while now, where they willingly accepted my 'dirty' cash. 😉. Pizza Hut did us a HUGE favour in turning us away and us coming to this gem of a place! The staff were very friendly, the premises were lovely and clean and the food? Well, it was some of the best food we've eaten in a long time. (And we eat out nearly every Sunday!) Our bill for 3 gigantic sunday lunches (pictured), 3 drinks AND 3 lovely puddings came to £38. That would have cost £80 upwards at Pizza Hut! Yup, we'll be back here again 100% but with MANY friends in tow next time! Keep up the good work folks and thank you for a wonderful meal! 👍🏻

The Brunswick Bar And Grill is a family friendly pub. Recently refurbished to a high standard. The lounge is separate from the bar if you wish to have a delicious home cooked meal. With friendly staff and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
