A traditional and friendly town centre public house, situated in the heart of Gainsborough and believed to date back to 1748. We serve a wide range of draught beers, ciders, spirits and other alcoholic and soft drinks to suit all tastes.
The Horse & Jockey shows all major sports fixtures through Sky Sports, BT Sports and Freeview as well as hosting karaoke/DJ entertainment every Friday and Saturday (9pm-1am).
We also offer 5 newly refurbished letting rooms (some with en-suite) at very reasonable prices, ideal for both overnight stays or longer-term bookings.
**EVENTS, PARTIES AND MEETINGS**
We cater for a wide range of social occasions as well as more formal meetings and gatherings. The old restaurant can be used as a function room (free of charge) and we can also put on a range of hot and cold snacks. Just give us a call or send us an email to discuss your requirements further.

Not very big but if you go in on mon tue or wed you get free pool and jukebox
A great budget room, clean and comfortable with tea making facility. Just enough for what we needed. A shower and ensuite were welcome.
Nice little pub, 2 beer gardens, pool table, jukebox, drink prices very reasonable, staff friendly and helpful, right in the middle of town worth popping in for a beer or 2,👍
Very cheap and once in its clear why. But. Owner was great and very helpful, bed was clean. If you just need a cheap place to sleep then fine but no comforts
Nice looking place inside. I love the exterior, retro tiling and colour scheme. Had karaoke on, which is always a plus. Guy behind the bar was very friendly. Don't do real ales which is a bit of a turn off for me, but happy to try other things. Places to sit outside but it's on a busy junction so, not my cup of tea but still a good option if you don't mind. Yeah. Nice pub.
