Yorkshire brewer, Samuel Smith's, serve only their own beers, wines and spirits at this chain venue.
A Samuel Smith pub, with three rooms downstairs and an upstairs eating area. An attractive Victorian interior and exterior including etched glass, mirrors and wood panels. A vaguely equine theme links the old prints. Old Brewery Bitter available on handpump, otherwise the beers are keg. Some tables and chairs on the pavement provide alternative 'fresh air' seating.
Beautiful old London pub with open fire which is lovely in the winter. Let down by appalling shortage of options available behind the bar coupled with less than helpful bar staff. Therefore unsurprising it was almost empty, a shame because a place with such character should be busy with people.
Authentic decor, true to vintage London pubs. Beautiful glasswork. There was no music. So the atmosphere creaked with silence.
My cousin Jennifer and I stayed close by and after huge day’s sightseeing in London we visited here the first night and went back the last night of our 4 days to eat and enjoy a beer. Matthew was fantastic (and handsome too) and made us feel very welcome. The food each time was top class. Loved the atmosphere and thoroughly recommend people to visit here. Thanks Nick but especially Matthew for looking after a couple of older Aussie women.
Lovely little pub… very nice barman who was friendly and funny! Not a packed out pub like you’d expect in a London pub…. Really worth the walk off the main roads for
I recently visited this British pub and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The scampi was some of the best I've ever had, with perfectly cooked shrimp and a delicious tartare sauce. The burgers were also top-notch, with juicy patty, fresh toppings and a delicious bun. Nachos were good as well. The atmosphere of the pub was also great, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Nicholas, the bartender, was lovely and super friendly! I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great meal and a great experience near Oxford Circus!

This smart oak panelled pub, run very much on traditional lines, offers a friendly welcome to both regulars and visitors to the area alike.

The Lucky Pig lends its origin to the 1920’s Prohibition Era: “Lucky” based on the notorious American mobster “Lucky Luciano,” and “Pig” a nod towards the Blind Pig watering holes where people gathered during the ban for hedonistic evenings of illicit dri
