Cosy city-centre freehouse and runner-up local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2017. Located directly behind the City Hall on College Green. The six handpumps dispense ever-changing beers of a variety of styles.
Many of the breweries featured are seldom seen in Bristol, but beers from local breweries are also sometimes stocked. There is also at least one traditional cider available. You are welcome to bring your own food. Beer festivals are held throughout the year, some in conjunction with nearby pubs including the Three Tuns and Bag of Nails. On street parking and public car park opposite.
Great traditional pub, decent selection of beers/cider, and friendly staff peeps. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in Bristol. The Arbor chocolate, caramel and shortbread stout was delicious 😋

Was so disappointed as went off other reviews and this is the dirtiest place I have been for a very long time. Toilets were what I can only describe as disgusting. Don't have a cleaner or clean toilets at all. Dust and dirt all over and the toilets were dirty without button flush. Wouldn't recommend
Good music and excellent beer. Come for a unique taste. Off stream beer to taste and fall in love with. Can have banter with the owner or sick to a corner (away from the toilet).
If you like excellent real ale (especially the darker ones) in a proper pub environment then this is a place you should visit. I'll admit I've been in Bristol 18 months and I never even knew this pub was there as it is squirreled away around the back of the council offices but this is worth finding, trust me 😉

Antix has been in the centre of Bristol’s late night entertainment scene for almost 15 years. Known as one of the best latest venues in town with closing times well into the early hours….6am Friday and Saturday nights!
