This little pub resolutely remains an ordinary local catering mainly to its regulars. Music Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Was next door to a bookies - the shop has moved but the pub still shows horse racing on TV, with betting slips by the bar. There is a large pool table at the back of the pub.
great; vibes gals guinness hotel;trivago
Had dinner with a group of ramblers and enjoyed our meal, lovely friendly atmosphere.
I didn't always want to be a naked skydiver. I once went for an interview for a farriers job. The blacksmith said to me "Have you ever shoed a horse" I said no but I once told a donkey to P*** off. And on that note I shall get my coat and retire to the horse and farrier where the food and drink are excellent
I called in for a drink the other day and it was a nice cozy environment with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Although rather small it made it feel comfortable with good air circulation and cool in the current heatwave. Prices are also reasonable too so it is a nice place to visit - and it has a courtyard out the back as well.
A good Thwaites experience, with very cheap alcohol. Could be quite cosy on the right night, has a beer garden. On the wrong night it'll be full of drunk people doing karaoke.
