What a great micropub! Claire and I started here early doors on Friday when we visited Uttoxeter and loved it! John the owner and the regulars are all very friendly! We're really looking forward to our next visit here again 😊 Nigel and Claire

I didn't eat, so can't review food, but the beer, atmosphere and service are all excellent.
Excellent Micro bar in the 2022 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Lovely location in the market place. Pavement seating on a sunny day. I chose a pint of Ludlow Gold over Butty Bach. Both amongst my favourite beers. Also had the excellent Milk Stout from Bristol Beer Factory on draught.
We had tickets for the races in Uttoxeter but decided to have a mooch around the local bars and we're glad we did when we came across this little gem! The staff were really friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in , the range of real ales and ciders are excellent and the place is very relaxing and spotless, we did all our betting that day from the comfort of this micro pub, but did see a horse in the end when one escaped from the races and made it's way to the square directly outside where it was caught again. We found this the best place in Uttoxeter by a long way & would recommend a stop off for a drink here!! Excellent.
