A family & dog friendly village pub serving homemade, locally sourced food & real ales in a welcoming atmosphere
We are situated between the market towns of Stafford and Newport. We have recently undergone a major refurbished to bring the pub back up to its former glory and high standards. We pride ourselves on being community pub offering quality locally sourced food and cask ales served to high standard.
Our 5* food hygiene rated restaurant serves traditional pub grub as well as offering new twists on classic dishes. All of our food is made on-site by our skilled kitchen team. We offer daily specials, multiple vegetarian and gluten free options and aim to cater for all dietary requirements, 7 days a week.
Showing all key sporting fixtures on multiple HD screens, along with our newly refurbished pool table, darts board, weekly pub quiz and events ensures there’s never a dull moment.
Neil, Michelle & family look forward to welcoming you (and your four-legged friends) to The Horns soon and hope you enjoy your visit as much as we do.

Great old pub, hopefully the coming refit will give it new lease of life. A sign outside saying "no sky sports here" would increase customer numbers greatly. As most folks can't think of anything worse to spoil a good pub.
great Sunday (roast) lunch with generous portions of meat and veggies! a perfect way to spend time with the whole family… nice ambience and great music (the best of 80s music) was played. The place is local to us and run by a friendly couple. definitely recommended!
We always love eating and drinking at The Horns. Lovely dog friendly restaurant and bar. Good ale and beers on offer and a healthy sized menu with great home cooked food. Lovely staff. This pub is also so quiet, which is both a blessing and a curse. The pub really deserves more customers who recognise the greatness of this place, but it also means if you go you might get it to yourself! Look forward to returning next week!
A typical village pub. Plain to look at the decor looks quite tired & dull, in my opinion this establishment was at one time quite a vibrant part of village life but sadly no more and has unfortunately very little to offer today's clientele. Poor selection of beers, irregular opening hours and a general lack of ambience make this establishment again, in my opinion 'one to dodge'.
Happened across this place quite by accident and noticed it sold food, so popped in for Sunday Dinner. Very reasonably priced, generous servings send friendly staff. Will go again if I'm ever over that way
