Welcome to The Horns Pub in Bulls Green, Datchworth, an old English country pub full of atmosphere and set in idyllic surroundings.
Our emphasis is on traditional British food, freshly cooked in our kitchen daily, using seasonal ingredients, sourced locally. We aim to offer value for money, without compromising on quality. Our food is complemented by a good selection of wine and beer, including guest ales, as well as spirits, non-alcoholic and hot drinks.
Our Beers & Ales
The Horns offers a quality range of beers ranging from well-known brands to regional favourites. Our climate-controlled cellar delivers bitters at the perfect drinking temperature all year round. We pride ourselves on serving the perfect pint: temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
We are happy to provide free tasting samples, and can serve bitters in traditional pint or half-pint jugs if desired.

It's a lovely pub inside, though the modernisation have lost a lot of character. Landlord was abrupt when he spoke to me. Food came within 5 minutes which wasn't a great sign but tasted fine.
We were very lucky to get a table here for 15 people, last minute on a Sunday after being let down! Some of us had travelled for 2 hours with small children. We recieved a warm welcome by all the staff and were all really well looked after the whole time. Great atmosphere, lovely food. Thanks for saving the day and making it even better.
Called in for a early pint and a snack and had a very warm welcome on what was one of the coldest days this winter.Both fires on and the very helpful young lady moved a table nearer to them.Not very often you get this sort of service nowadays I said to my wife,especially as we hadn't requested this.
Great pub! Lots of nearby history. Easy walk and back to the pub. Check out the pie man. Walter Clibburn and the Witch, Sally Rainbow.
Lovely oldie pub steeped in history. Good beer and food. Because it is a favoured pub, it can get quite busy but we'll worth a visit
