Stopped at The Horns for lunch mid week, following a walk on Cannock Chase with a group of friends. Most of us had the halibut off the "specials" and all agreed it was one of the best and most memorable meals - the beer was good too! Well done and thanks.
Saturday evening at the Horns Inn, slitting mill. Service was great. Had to amend the booking, but this wasn't a problem for staff, really accommodating. Good variety of food on offer. Portion size was off the chart, not a single person could finish the meal. Had the nachos to share for a starter. This was a main meal in its self all home made, bonus. Only dropped a star for the lighting in the area by the kitchen. It was a little dark, but didn't detract from the friendly atmosphere. Free live entertainment on the Saturday evening. But didn't stay. Had to find my comfortable joggers otherwise a Jean button would have popped and taken an eye out. Will definitely be back again.

We're lucky enough to live 5minutes from the chase and this wonderful pub. We called in for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed, the service was great the staff are all so friendly and make you feel so welcome. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere here and the food is outstanding 👌 thank you all at the horns x
Another lovely Sunday at the The Horns Inn - I love this little gem in the middle of Cannock Chase. We come here often mostly for the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten, but also for the friendly welcome and great atmosphere every time we arrive, I’ve never felt so welcome in any other establishment and trust me I’ve been in a few :) x Ladies you have a fabulous pub and fantastic menu - props to the team at The Horns Inn slitting Mill - and thanks for the fabulous onion rings, they really are a taste sensation. I’ve tried most things on the patio menu as well as the main menu when we’ve visited in the evenings and my god they are tasty, fresh and very well cooked. Great pub, great atmosphere and I especially like the amenities that are available for us women in the rest room, you really go the extra mile so thank you ❤️ Today was a cheeky pizza and of course my favourite pickled onion rings 😋😋😋😋
