Great food great service made to feel very welcome We were a party of 8 on 26th Jan and although they were very busy and a bit short staffed everything was perfect . Staff very polite and friendly even helped me organise a taxi home when my phone let me down couldn't ask for better service

Very nice lunch. No problem getting a table as we hadn't booked ahead even though they were very busy. Food was tasty and service first class

Awesome staff, awesome food, nice cold beer, Lovely outside eating area, huge car park, Love coming here especially on a Sunday ❤️❤️❤️ Recommend Sunday lunch or the Steak and Tanglefoot ale pie with mash, carrot 🥕 kale 🥬 served with Tanglefoot gravy

As always, an honest review: We stopped off here and decided to chance it, en route to somewhere else. Food was delicious, couldn't fault it. Staff were also super friendly and accommodating. The venue itself is lovely to sit in both outside and inside. I can imagine had it not have poured down, it would be a lovely place to sit and eat and drink for hours. Not so great bits: the Kids menu wasn't the most "child friendly" for maybe pickier eaters, and not a vast amount of choice for kids. All in all 9/10. Only scoring a point down because they didn't have the kids first choice available, and there were only really 3 other options.

Had a very pleasant Sunday Lunch here yesterday which was well presented & very tasty. I’ve been here several times. The service is friendly & efficient, & the atmosphere is welcoming & relaxed. The food was well presented & nicely cooked. My friend went for the Sunday Roast Beef & I went for the Bass on Risotto. Both were very tasty. The dessert menu was particularly good and exceeded expectation. The have a decent wine list and a good selection of beer, cider, specialty gins & vodkas. Reasonably priced & plenty of parking. Good job.
