The lady at the bar said that I gave her 5 pounds, but I actually gave her 10; I'm sure as I have withdrawn Scottish notes just an hour before. The day after, the manager said that there was no difference in the till.
Fantastic wee pub with a friendly atmosphere. Watch out for the young barmaid with the glasses though, kitty got claws lol

Great pub, Great prices, great people. Came to duns cycling through, didn’t expect to stay for more than one but the people were so welcoming we stayed half the evening! Will be back next time I’m in this neck of the woods
We were staying at a nearby local bar and hotel, but needed to explore the town so came across this little diamond. Immediately welcomed by Caroline and other locals who made us feel relaxed, especially after a long day of driving. No idea of its history, but its bar is the main feature, with two toilets at either side, also has outdoor Seating that if your a smoker is ideal. There is a fab juke box for you to play your own music. (Elvis lives) For two strangers we were made to feel so welcomed, l understand they do gin nights! Glad we went for a wonder.
