Staff were great and breakfast was fine but I suggest even if you get confirmation stating that you're booked in to call the Hotel in advance to actually confirm that you get the room you've paid for.
Overall get your moneys worth it was £60 per night breakfast included. The hotel is not extravagant but it is most certainly worth the money you pay for it. The staff was very friendly and specifically there were two gentleman named Allen and Michael, who are very helpful with whatever it is that I needed. I read some bad reviews about this place before coming so I was very careful and in my honest opinion it is nowhere near as bad as what other people have said it is on the reviews. I would definitely recommend coming if you’re just here to stay overnight for a holiday
By gosh this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and seen. I would not give it a star. The photo's on the internet site of the Hotel has been enormously re-touched. This hotel is disgusting. If you have any sense of cleanliness or sense you would not stay here. I made a very bad mistake - You have been warned.
Only had a drink at the hope,didn't stay in hotel..Nice cold pint on a hot summer day,went down a treat..Great location opposite the seafront for watching the world go by..
On arrival to the hope hotel we were met with friendly staff. We wasn’t told on the phone when I had rang during the week that we would be staying in the guesthouse round the corner my mum is disabled and found the walk to the house very hard on the plus side we had a ground floor room the lady who showed us to the room was lovely. The area around was very quiet thankfully and the room was nice big comfy bed but the en-suite smelt of dust. I think that the guest house should be advertised more properly because we thought our room would be on the seafront. But we did have a lovely stay in the other room.
