Prefect location to sleep for the night when wanting to explore the local area. Great hotel, took a gamble as we spent £89 pounds on a room and thought to be in quite a shabby room; as of previous experiences being in hotels for rooms of over £300 pounds and have been disappointed with quality control on the rooms. This place was not a let down and had a cozy little room with a lovely bathroom for only £89 pounds. Very clean not a spec of hair or dirt. Slight bit of dust/cobwebs but as far as human dirt there was nothing and the room was spotless. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but very happy with the quality of the room. Slept better then when staying at much more expensive places. Will be returning again in the future. :).
A lovely hotel with excellent staff. We had a lovely spacious room that was spotlessly clean. Plenty of tea/coffees in the room and lots of lovely toiletries
Gorgeous pub / hotel. Lovely staff. Amazing room. Stayed at the Holt for the Christmas party for the Triumph Rocket 3 owners club. The food provided for the party was excellent. Breakfast was also really good with lots of choice.
Went for our wedding anniversary on our way up North from Southampton. We got an upgrade and even offered preseco to celebrate our anniversary courtesy of the Hotel. Gratefully appreciated. Our deluxe room was spacious and clean. Meals were nice with a good choice. And the staff are friendly and welcoming. Pleased we booked the Holt hotel.
Hallways feel a little out dated, but people probably like that old school look. Would've expected the deluxe room to have a fridge at least. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet has a nice selection.
