Welcome to a beautiful historic pub located on the edge of the Wyre Forrest in Bewdley.
A family, dog friendly pub that offers locally sourced ales and proper good pub food!.
Went for my birthday with the family had the sharing platter and everything on it was fantastic! Well worth the money and more than enough for two. Highly recommend. Thanks Team Hop Pole xx
From ringing to book, to arrival, service and upon leaving the staff couldn't help enough and the Sunday dinner sharer was unreal.... the beef came pink and it was stunning.... I'm sure if you ask for it a bit more cooked they would accommodate as nothing seemed too much..... highly recommended and I will definitely be returning 🤤🤤
Very unprofessional from front of house to the chef expecting you to eat raw beef,cold/dry pork and watery gravy. The main course came out when we still had starter plates,to the amusement of the young lad serving us,then very nearly dropped the lot. When challenged about the very raw beef, the chef sent the young girl out twice to defend his lack of cooking skills/customer care,we could go on but enough said!!
Had read reviews so a bit sceptical... T's on the Beef. Tough but tasty. As I had read, only a small bowl of Veg between four. Glad we ordered a few sides... 2.95 each....
Got there and easy to park,we were welcomed with smiles and happy faces. Menue not large but plenty to choose from . Sea food risotto was lovely but a very small portion .partner had finished it and we were still only 1/4 of the way through out steak sandwich and t bone pork .food was tasty . Atmosphere was lovely until foul mouthed men in corner started swearing constantly with no thought for childrens ears . Great pub plenty of seating just on this occasion spoilt by a couple of customers .wedone to the chef and bar staff .
