We would have given the atmosphere 5+ but we were here and brought the standard down. Frankie has forced me to give this review, and will only give me my shoes backs of I say she was brilliant. Frankie you were brilliant. Now can I have my shoes. Honestly, Frankie was great. We had a brilliant time and would recommend Home cottage. Thanks Frankie.
Visited here on Friday lunchtime as a solo diner. Lovely pub both inside and outside. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I thought the starter of pork and bacon scotch egg was very unusual. It tasted amazing! So definitely recommend people to try it. The beef and guiness stew at £18 was nice but I wouldn't choose it again. Just felt it was missing something. I would recommend this pub and feel it has alot to offer. Pub bar area. Restaurant area. Outside dining and lovely garden.
The roast chicken was very good and the service was very friendly. However, the roast potatoes were a bit tough and rubbery. We were disappointed that they had run out of roast beef, but the chicken was very nice.
I loved this place it has space. Choice with drinks. What can i say great atmosphere inside outside too. I have eaten at a lots of so called pub restaurants. I found the roast shank of lamb amazing. Home cottage is a cut above most of the places I have visited. The staff are very helpful. What more can I say but thank you for a lovely mother's day..
Popped in for lunch a week ago and loved the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was tasty, the service was good and the Christmas vibe around the pub was lovely to see. They had a good selection of food and drinks to choose from. The pub is a lovely size with plenty of seating, with a large garden too which is ideal for the summer time. It's within walking distance from the station which is really handy. Worth visiting if you are in the area. RM x

Fresh and Sustainable ingredients are special with my cooking technique influenced by Thai , Chinese and importantly my ethnic Dai/Shan. The Junction is just a relax place where you can have a good pint and my unique foods.
