I know its a starter but £5.50 for a few hallumi fries is a disgrace so were the kids meals Chicago Town pizza that was soggy and uneadable served with salad! What kid eats a pizza with salad. For the price you pay no side option to go with it is shocking. Small portions and meat was well done I asked for medium. Dont think we will be returning
Bar staff were friendly quick etc no problem. Food came out .chips were bottom of the bag stuff hard and a few green chips .peas were dry . Portion size was as if it was for kids . . No care given to how the food was presented. Dont no who was cooking at the time but totally let the place down .
Called in this place for the 1st time. Nice place but did wait a bit to be served at the bar to order food.. orderd a rare stake it came medium rare if not well done....orderd a cloudy lemonade ....it turned out to be tonics warter with lemon cordial....and table tidying was slow sat having a meal and seeing tables sat with old food and plates around is not a nice view or relaxing environment. But the place was nicely decorated with Xmas decorations
This is our local with Great food, and great staff always a warm welcome, Lucy always lets my Guinness settle and brings it to our table.
I ordered the Rump Steak and the Hunters Chicken, the steak was a decent portion but opted for the mashed potato as opposed to the chips, the potato tasted bland and the Hunters Chicken which my husband had was of a child size portion. All in all not the most exciting of meals and we would not be in too much of a hurry to return, but thank you anyway.
