Had a couple of drinks with my son today and was served by Sarah who was lovely and welcoming. She helped us decide on what cocktail to get. Would recommend especially with her service.

Used to love coming here but sadly getting fed up with the poor availability of menu items. It seems every time we go there on a Saturday (always between 2-3pm) the vegetarian options are unavailable. I love the vegetable lasagne but it's always out of stock. Burgers were out of stock last weekend and that's not the first time we've experienced that. Have also had issues at breakfast time as well. Website says it opens at 8am for breakfast and on a few occasions we have turned up just after 9am to be turned away and told they are not open, or the doors are locked. Very strange. Have started taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame as we like the pub and the location is very close to home but it's not worth the hassle any more.

I haven't used the rooms only the restaurant and bar. I've found this pub very hit and miss. It can be absolutely amazing in every way or everything is dreadful. Personally I would recommend the White Swan rather than this pub!!

Staff very helpful even though was mad busy for them. Room was very comfortable. Central heating wasn't working so an electric heater was provided. Food in the pub was what expect from hungry horse and arrived in good time. Has a decent size car park but if your driving anything bigger than a long wheel base van you will struggle to park. Most roads in area double yellows so could be issue with getting parked. Overall a comfortable stay, again staff super helpful and a credit to the place. Many thanks.

Went there for lunch. Have been previously and always enjoyed it, no fuss, good with kids. However this time strolled up to the bar at 1205 to order some food to be told that they weren't taking food orders because the chef was on break. At lunch. Surely that's the time that the chef shouldn't be on break. Who's the day chef cooking for if he isn't making lunch for customers?
