We serve food all day, along with quality draught beers, ale on hand pumps, plus a carefully chosen wine list with quality-variety value. As well as serving quality fresh food in our restaurant and a range of drinks in the bar, The High Field has a spacious garden and two sunny terraces. There is also public parking on-street and to the rear of our garden.

Beautiful venue, great meeting place for our work meeting and lunch. Food was 1st class and we tried a variety of dishes. We were served promptly and the team were very attentive. Faultless.

The kitchen is clearly run to a very high standard. The menu is excellent and my food was delicious. Food review only- Everything I could see from my table looked equally appealing and smelt delightful. The front of house staff were all trained well with expected check-backs, fast service and on the ball. One of the waitresses did seem a little unenthusiastic, however who knows what kind of day anyone is having. If you’re looking for great fresh food and good service it’s highly recommended.

Not been for a very long time but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, especially the lady on the pass with the curly hair and the man running drinks. Monkfish was 10/10. The schnitzel was overcooked but it was quickly rectified. I'd love definitely recommend. Parking was a bit confusing as it's a bit odd that the car park isn't linked. Also didn't quite understand why we got seated on such a small table when we asked for a spacious table when booking and smaller parties were on larger tables. However, I'm sure if we asked then they would've easily sorted it.

Just visited this place. The food arrived two hours late, and I paid £40 for steak and dessert. I requested a well-done steak. However, it came rare. When I asked for a replacement, they simply reheated the steak, resulting in half burnt and half medium rare. The customer service was disappointing; I expected a discount, but they showed no concern. Additionally, the steak portion was very small. Totally unprofessional.

Came today for my son's birthday. What a beautiful place. The staff were lovely, very friendly. The food was delicious, lots of choice. The service was a little slow, but they had a couple of big parties in, so it was understandable. I would happily come again.
