We love cocktails, especially the history of the classics; the bar has a small library of books on the subject dating back as far as the 1890s which you can browse if interested.
We also love wine – our friends at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust know as much as anyone on the subject and have helped us put together what we think is a great value, pretty diverse and interesting selection of wines.
Then there is beer – sometimes the only right option. There are a huge range of different beer styles and flavours out there and we have attempted to reflect some of those on our list of bottled beers, and in the selection of our main tap suppliers the Meantime Brewery from down the road in Greenwich.
And of course not all spirits need to go in cocktails – we have a selection of rum, whisk(e)y, tequila, cognac, liqueurs etc which are fantastic just served on their own. That is pretty much what we are about. You don’t have to know the detailed history of everything you drink (though we will tell you if you have the time) but you do have to know that everything we have on our menu is the best we can find.

I went with some friends, and had excellent service, nice music and bar for drinks.the staff looks friendly, specially from a spanish guy, i think his name is Dario, always attend of customers.
The ambience was nice and the staff were lovely to me. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't great. The G&Ts first came served with flat tonic - only after we complained, we were given bottled tonic and that was much better. Staff also mixed up our drinks when serving. The negronis were fine, but I was glad I asked if they were made on the spot as a lot of their cocktails on draught. Even then, the negronis were just okay and a little too sweet for my liking. 3 stars only for the staff because service was nice and they were quick to swap out the G&Ts when we complained about them with no fuss. Unfortunately, you're better off somewhere else if you want a cocktail or spirit+mixers. I can't say much about their beer & wine as I haven't tried them. For a minimum of £12 per drink, I wish they were better.
We rocked up, no booking but sat at the bar drinking happy hour cocktails. The staff were great to help point us to the deals, suggest cocktails and provided great service. Stayed here longer than our planned "1 quick drink" purely because the bar staff were so good and pointed out the happy hour.
I always come here every Wednesday with my colleague from work. We like coming here for a burger and a local beer, and we come from Liverpool Sreet. The new dessert menu is the best choice after a nice dinner. Chefs are lovely and the staff very funny. Highly recommended
TLDR; Discover Unique and Delicious Beers, the Ideal Late-Night Spot for Drinks with Friends If you're a beer lover, you won't want to miss The Hide Bar. Their wide range of beers, served in 2/3 or 1/3 measures, makes it easy to sample and discover new favourites. While the cocktail selection could be improved, the drinks that they do have are delicious and well-crafted. The friendly and attentive staff make for a welcoming atmosphere, and The bar is the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a few drinks. With a decent amount of seating, including table service in the later hours, it's an ideal venue for a night out that extends past the typical closing time since the operate until 2am. Overall, The Hide Bar earns a 8.5 out of 10 rating, thanks to its selection of quality beers, friendly staff, and great late-night atmosphere.
