Had a wake here. Was nice and clean and staff were nice only complaint was wake was for 40 people 37 turned up and 9 people didn't have anywhere to sit in back room so had to sit apart from the rest. Also tea and coffee overpriced as small tiny cups and coffee was instant not worthy of price. There was plenty of food though. Good spread choices.
Booked a meal here for Friday evening There were 14 of us and all the food delivered was lovely . Nothing was cold we were all served and eating together which was nice as sometimes with a large group people are often waiting whilst others are eating. Staff polite and friendly Great evening and will definitely be back
Lovely friendly staff here, and they have oat milk as an alternative which is great :) Came for coffee and it's become a regular every week. Food menu looks nice at reasonable prices too. Gf options
Christmas Day … First time the family has ever been out on Christmas Day. From the initial booking process to the experience was fabulous. The food was unbelievably amazing! Service from Lisa and the team was top notch. Good hospitality from all the team. The space in between each course was perfect. All round the perfect Christmas lunch with the perfect atmosphere! See you next year !!
Myself and my partner recently enjoyed a delightful meal at the North Star, savouring their fish and chips. The overall experience was very enjoyable, and the staff’s warmth added a special touch to the evening. The crispy batter of the fish paired perfectly with the tender flakiness inside, making it a satisfying dish. The lovely staff further enhanced the experience, providing attentive and friendly service throughout. I would recommend the North Star for a pleasant dining experience with classic fish and chips!
