About us

The Robin Hood is a lovely 16th Century pub, right on the edge of Tring town centre. With its log burning stoves and cosy low ceilings, the pub delivers a warm welcome in every sense - plus an exciting menu, excellent real ales and good old-fashioned service with a smile.

SERVING GREAT FOOD & DRINK

One of the best pubs serving food in Tring, The Robin Hood offers lunch and evening menus alongside a raft of daily specials. Sausages are something of a speciality here, so be sure to check out the banger of the day. If you're here on a Sunday then of course it's just got to be our traditional roast.

Only popped in for a pint. Very friendly greeting. Food looked lovely, although I didn't order myself. Lovely open fire. Can't go wrong with a Fullers Pub.

Hadn’t been here in years and certainly wasn’t vegan last time I came here. Was super impressed to see great vegan options on the menu, I opted for the bangers and mash which was flooded with gravy (exactly as it should be!) and was delicious, 100% recommend. The service was fantastic and friendly too and the decor was spot on; the perfect type of pub.

Solid pub with great classic food options. Not pricey and a nice little paved area outside as well. If you're local it would be a great place to drink regularly. Definitely had quite a few loyal customers

Had this lovely woman with pink hair serve me and she was an absolute delight and a pleasure to deal with! Really made me feel welcome and it was an ideal spot to experience a true old British pub! Felt very old timey, homey and so historic! Only popped in for a quick drink! The outside patio was done up realy nice and I sent pictures of it back home for my mother! 12/10 will go back with the husband!

Just had an amazing lunch. I had lamb chops new pots carrots and green beans in an awesome gravy and the wife had a huge goats cheese and walnut salad. What can I say apart from go and try it yourself. Great portions and very friendly staff with a great choice of ales and lagers. I am stuffed. Had to eat some of the wife’s as she could not finish it.
