Proper 'pub' pub not many of these left in hitchin which has become a bit well-to-do. Good atmosphere with music, karaoke and plenty of 'real' people relaxing and having a good time.
Lively, fun, friendly. Mid evening football and rugby on the screens, good crowd. Later, the atmosphere changes for a younger clientele, main lights off, fancy lights and lively music. Really popular. And good prices for drinks!
Full of unsavoury types. Tables all sticky and the seats have dubious stains all over them. Multiple dogs running wild and barking at everything and everyone. Drinks are very cheap hence the clientale. Not my idea of a good time
Nice pub, good beers, friendly staff. Worth a visit
£3 a pint of cider and the footy on what more can you want 🙂 although nice staff and a good atmosphere also adds to your enjoyment.
