The Jubilee is a very interesting place. When I first came to the UK I was stationed here in 2019 as my first place of employment and lodging. I met my now husband there. Years ago it wasn't run that well and shut down a few times, but since then it has been reopened under new management and they are brilliant! Always polite, and they seem to have different events on during the weekends! The drinks are standard, but always delicious and cold but the service is the real gem of the jubilee! Certainly a pub for the locals, but as a Canadian (non UK resident) they were very welcoming. I only worked there for 4 months, but sometimes on a walk by will still pop in for a cold one. New management is so much better now! Only wish they had a menu, as a pub restaurant is missing in that square and would be a prime location. - Saw them putting up christmas decorations and can't wait to see how it transforms into a christmas wonderland :)
Really great pub, with new management. Friendly service and decent prices. I love their sports bar too.
Nice enough pub. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool/darts setup. I liked it. Only gripe would be; prices are a bit steep tho. £5 for a Guinness in Hemel? I'd expect that in London. My old local in Harrow- a London Borough- is still only £3.80 a pint.
Such a great pub since reopening. Clean, excellent food (rump steak salad was amazing) and great service. Dog friendly and a lovely garden too. Francis the manager is really friendly and always makes us feel welcome. So pleased we have a great local!
Great place to pop in and watch the Sunday afternoon football match on the pub's TV screens. A lively but friendly atmosphere inside and seating was available in a garden at the rear if required. I'm sure we'll be calling in again on our future visits to the locality.
