I was there for the first time with my family. There weren't many people. The place was nice, but the service was poor. I had the impression that they were there for a penalty. No kindness, no smiles. Do some training with the customer service. It would be really nice if you went somewhere and were greeted by smiling staff.
The service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and demonstrated a genuine passion for hospitality. The ambiance is both charming and sophisticated. The tasteful decor, ambient lighting, and well-thought-out layout created a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Had Large breakfast with 2 Sausages, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 3 hash brown, 8 baked beans and a mushroom with toast and butter. How on earth something just ordered was all cold, Sausages were luke warm, eggs cold, bacon cold, beans luke warm and hash browns were under cooked so bad I could taste the cold lumpy potato separating inside not cooked, it's a shame, food is really good normally, just can't understand how it can be that cold just coming out of the fryer/grill.
Standard Weatherspoons. Food and drink is good for the price. Ordered using the app. Drinks came quick and about 15 minute wait for food. Toilets clean.
Great pub built in the front part of an old cinema. Mixed clientele when I visited and good range of beers as you'd expect from a Wetherspoon pub. Still selling some great real ales for as little as £1.99 a pint so definitely not a massive bill if you're in the mood for a couple. I've included a picture of the waiting room for the ladies as my wife was very impressed with the decor. Tbh the gents is nowhere near as tidy.
