Excellent local pub very welcoming by all staff, particularly Lee and Charlotte the landlords. It is great for a catch up over breakfast - peaceful.and good value. Sunday lunch is good with some pub classics also on the menu. I often sneak in for a drink after work😉👍. Much more suitable for families now that Sky has gone. Thoroughly recommend.

The worst Sunday roast I’ve ever had in my whole life. I’ve had better microwave meals. The potatoes are basically raw. The meat is tough and chewy. Yorkshire pudding is aunt Bessie’s. You need a chainsaw to cut through the veg. Credit where credits due - you didn’t manage to mess up the stuffing so congrats on that. If you want a nice meal - don’t go here. Can’t believe you charge nearly £20 for this shambles of a meal. Edit: you should probably look through your reviews to know that your food has been complained about, especially the roast. I’ve seen it mentioned a few times in the past couple of months. I’ll never be back.

Been today with friends to see Elvis impersonator and 3 course meal at lunch time. A great time was had by all. Elvis was absolutely amazing, so good a lot of us were videoing him. Nice lunch. Definitely be going back for more tribute acts.

Now this place is a bit special!! Not only is it a proper pub, the food here is top notch too. The menu is very varied and can be adapted within reason to suit individual diners' tastes, eg. I didn't fancy chips with my Hunters chicken, so I asked if mash was possible, and Hunters chicken with mash duly arrived, not only did it smell amazing but tasted pretty darn good too!! Lovely staff, and very welcoming atmosphere. (Going back tomorrow to enjoy the Sunday lunch!!) PS. Well people, Sunday lunch was arguably better than last evenings meal, 2 plates of very good, well cooked, wholesome food!! Lee, you're playing an absolute blinder here, please keep it up! I really envy the good folk of Boxmoor for having such a place on their doorstep!!

Took my dog for the doggy afternoon tea with his pal for his birthday treat at Three Blackbirds. I want to recommend this treat for your dog and Thank the Three Blackbirds for coming up with the idea. Amazing & should be advertised more. The food was amazing for them & freshly cooked. The ice cream & tennis ball were added touches. The staff are very friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Very good experience & would recommend.
