The Boxmoor Social Club was first established in 1891 in nearby St. Johns Road as an association for working men and boys. It relocated in Horsecroft Road shortly thereafter and has been a presence in the area ever since
Today it fulfills much the same function as was originaly envisaged and is a vibrant feature of the local community providing a welcome retreat for Boxmoor and Hemel Hempstead residents alike. Aware of its responsibilities it endeavours at all times to be sympathetic to the sensibilities of its immediate neighbours whilst at the same time ensuring that members and their guests attending the club are able to enjoy both the comfortable facilities and the top-class entertainment regularly provided.

Amazing. It's like a tardis. Huge inside, very nicely decorated. Background music but quiet. Big areas to drink and talk or watch a match if it's on. The price of beer is also very good
A lovely members club. Family friendly and the food is lovely at weekends
A lovely night out, everyone's really friendly, pool tables and dance floor, has everything anybody could want for a night full of games, drink and laughter
Fantastic and friendly social club. Great band on that night (Soul Enforcement Bureau) so it was full to capacity. Bar service was speedy and a great atmosphere
Very nice experience. Friendly staff, good film. Only been once but great so far🙂
