We love a good pub so thats why we opened one.
I like a good pub. It’s that simple. When I’m not working in this one, I’m usually sat in someone else’s. I talk about pubs with my mates and I love to visit pubs people tell me about. I like having fruitless conversations in pubs, and I like sitting on my own reading a newspaper in the pub. I get really disappointed with a poor pub.
I like atmosphere, and character, and fun.
So when I opened this place I wanted somewhere I’d go; good quality and interesting food, great service, well-kept ales (and if this means reducing choice to ensure quality then that’s what we do), staff who actually talk to you and remember your name.
A place that’s informal but professional, that may under promise but always over delivers. Somewhere you’d want to take your friends, or come on your own.

Driven & walked past a number of times. This was our first visit. Nice mixed atmosphere of bar and restaurant. Service good without being overbearing. Food good and well presented. Mains at around £17 to £20. Sandwiches etc. available as a snack. Good range of beers and wines. Large garden area for summer and several outside eating pods. We will lunch there again. Pictures of pub rear from the carpark and garden.
I held a gathering for my mums 65th birthday on friday. The whole experience was fantastic. Canapes were exceptional and all the staff were very friendly, genuine and professional. Thank you The Grand Junction Team. Highly recommended.
Food was okay here and the service kinda sucked coz it was a very busy weekend for them. But the location is simply super. Do visit for their beautiful outdoor.
Went for birthday meals. Food was lovely, the restaurant part is set at the back of the grand junction arms. Lovely setting undercover for restaurant. Garden tables out back, +a children's play area .Over looking the canal.
First time here and for Valentines. Beautiful decor and nicely laid out. Staff are polite and knowledgeable, and easy to get on with. The food was excellent and cooked to exactly how we wanted it. Would deffinatley recommend this place for a meal or even just a pint.
