Had a wonderful meal with a large group of friends to celebrate the holidays. Cracking value, service and evening shared with friends. Thank you Alex you made the whole evening smooth, enjoyable and were a complete professional! We thank you sir and we hope to make this part of our annual holiday celebrations!
Every time I visit the Harvest, I always expect better. The atmosphere and venue are fantastic but the food and service ALWAYS disappoint. The food is quite clearly microwaved - rock solid brussel sprouts which are cold in the middle, plasticky potatoes with white spots and lukewarm gravy. This isn’t the first time I’ve complained. Last time I braved the restaurant, we accidentally got served meat instead of the vegetarian dish we ordered. When I say the service was bad, I don’t mean friendliness. Everyone FOH was lovely - perhaps it’s just an issue with the kitchen. When a place has such a large menu, you can always assume nothing is cooked fresh. I’ve genuinely had better school dinners. I don’t speak for the whole group I went with - only myself. I probably wouldn’t have left this review but I’ve woken up with an awful, awful stomach. Not to mention starters didn’t arrive til 8.40pm and mains till after 9pm. I ended up asking my dessert to go because we were quickly approaching 10pm and no sign of the end in sight.
A wonderful visit to the Harvest Moon for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was great. The value for money was exceptional.

The location of the pub is nice. Good selection of food and drinks. Easy access for all. Parking - make sure you put your registration in or you will be charged £100. There is stuff for children to play on outside. The quality of the food is average but they were willing to cover the cost of a meal as compensation. Overall I wouldn't visit again even if it was just a bad day at the office for their cook.
