Traditional 17th-century pub with an open fire, a courtyard and both regular and guest ales on tap.
Most definitely the best hostelry in Baldock, an extensive selection of ales always in perfect condition........
Really nice pub. The food looks good too. I can now report that the Sunday Roast is excellent! Just a nice place to moan about how the Tory government has ruined our lives!
2021: a lovely little pub with a nice outdoor area with “sheds” for shelter and heating. The prices are ok, there are cheaper and more expensive. I wasn’t in a wheelchair when I visited but I think it’s accessible certainly outside is- inside is quite small but it’s doable
Hadn't been here in years and still a lovely looking pub outside and in, nice polite service good pint and price
Brilliant food We had a double Burger 🍔 & cheesy Chips 🍟 genuinely brilliant Good heat lamps around the pub £15 for food & a beer 🍺
