Sally and the team here are super-efficient, helpful and friendly. This was my third visit to this hotel and it is a really lovely place to stay, will definitely be back. Food and service were excellent. Location is perfect for exploring Ross and surrounding areas, which are all beautiful.
We arrived yesterday afternoon for lunch the pub was busy lovely atmosphere.We where asked if we could wait 1/2 hour which we did . Got a great table over looking Ross & beyond. Caroline was the lovely lady that served us at the bar & was so attentive & professional made our visit perfect . We are coming back next time to stay over for a weekend . I can't reccomend The Royal highly enough, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful where they could. Especially Carol who was so lovely. The rooms were warm, clean and tidy and the location was spot on. Anyone staying in Ross on Wye needs to give The Royal a try. Will definitely be going back to stay.
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms in a stunning location, and wonderful food at reasonable pricing. The staff provide an impeccable service with nothing being too much trouble. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
What a beautiful old and classy hotel. Large and comfortable relaxation areas and all sizes of very good bedrooms with en suite. The dining room is also large, airy and relaxing. Everything about the place is excellent, there is plenty of parking on site to make things easier. I highly recommend a stay here or even just come for a meal, you'll love it!
