Set at a crossroads near Madley this pub has large grounds from which can be seen The Black Mountains.
It has been recently refurbished but retains much of the character of the old cottages from which it was converted 150 years ago. The food is home prepared and can be enjoyed in the conservatory restaurant situated off the main bar. There is a roaring log fire in the winter, a well kept garden and a caravan site, a welcoming pub for all seasons.
Having moved into the area a few months ago our family have now visited here on quite a few occasions. Lovely welcoming place to visit for drink/food. Especially enjoy their Friday curry night and Sunday roasts.
Fabulous Sunday roast. Thank you very much xx
Had lovely Sunday lunch today .Lovely hosts , great service , beautifully cooked meals , lovely and hot , all fresh veggies and extra cauliflower cheese .My one friend had the beef , she said it was lovely and plenty of it .We we’re to full to eat a pudding . Very accommodating with vegetarian option and gluten free gravy .Could not fault it .Well worth a visit for a great Sunday roast !!
Delicious Sunday lunch. Very organised for our party of 22. Home cooked, all hot and freshly prepared.
Stopped today for Sunday lunch. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good and more than enough and I was pleasantly surprised how cheap it was. Will definitely be calling again if we are passing.
