Visited The Heathy Farm for lunch - great food! 5 star service from Jade and Denise. Jade was very friendly and attentive, making sure we were fed and watered throughout. She was very kind and recommended the strawberry cheesecake for dessert (which I agree! 😊) Denise helped to serve us food and drinks. She was also very helpful and friendly. Made our day! Thank you to you both!
I went there for our radio club's Christmas dinner. The food was good and they cooked my burger exactly how I requested. The only issues were that the food took a long time to come, and in the room we were sat in you couldn't get out once you were in! I had to call over to the gentleman bringing the food to order drinks. Staff were friendly though.
Great service , a bit of a wait at the bar, but to be fair they had a large group in, and despite being told there was a 45 minute wait for food, it arrived in 20 minutes, piping hot. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, we brought a birthday cake with us as we were celebrating a birthday, and had phoned ahead to ask if we could bring a cake, they lit the candles and carried the cake in and provided us with serviettes and plates and no extra charge. Also I had accidentally booked for the wrong day, yet we were given a private room, highly recommend.
1st time visitors to this establishment and it’s very good. I had salt & pepper squid to start which was delicious but they could have been a little more generous with portion. My partner enjoyed the King prawn and avocado cocktail, lots of lettuce but not overly generous with the avocado or prawns but again it was good. I had the crispy chicken in a basket with chips. Sadly again, loads of chips but only 2 small pieces of chicken and my partner had the sausage & mash which was faultless and a decent portion. We thought our bill of £50 very fair as we had a lager & medium size glass of red wine too. Staff are all very friendly and keen to help.
I shared nachos as a starter, and they were really good. However, my Indulgent burger was far from indulgent. It looked nothing like the menu, had a dry, almost stale bun, a flat over-cooked burger and a tiny smattering of beef bits on top. Appeared to be less than half the size of the menu image. I didn’t complain as I was there as a guest on a family celebration and didn’t want to upset the vibe on our table. The chips, etc were good.
