This would have been 5 stars, the location is stunning, the staff are amazing, breakfast was buffet and really good The rooms however need a major overall, the bathroom suite was very very old and need a massive upgrade-the shower was trickling , and the shampoo was by the sink!! Not designed very well There was quite a lot of dust in the room as well Spa needs an upgrade as well Once these things are improved this will be amazing-only my opinion of course

Honestly one of the finest hotels in the area. Great service, plenty of parking and glorious views. I wouldn’t say the stay was cheap at £500+ per night but we were on the top floor in Room 401 which had two bedrooms and stunning views of the sea crashing onto the rocks. There are cheaper rooms available but we figured we’d go all out as well never get to stay there again. We visited during a storm and the wind noise was a bit extreme at times but that’s to be expected by the seaside. The fit and finish of the room was lovely. A massive bath tub and shower to the bathroom with a separate WC. One bedroom incorporated a living area and king size bed with the additional bedroom having 2 single beds. The staff are lovely and humoured us when we questioned them about The Witches being filmed there. While there I had an hour long massage and actually fell asleep during. The staff at the spa were lovely. The breakfast was amazing. The best scrambled egg if ever eaten. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had an amazing long weekend at the Headland. Not only a beautiful location and hotel, but amazing service from all staff members. So friendly and helpful. The package offered was great value for money. And the spa and Aqua Club offerings were great additions! Would definitely come back, especially to say hi to the Witch! 🎃

Arrived at the gate and gave my name to check in, when parked, Neil the door man approached me by name, then took me inside and introduced me to the receptionist who also greeted me, this was a great start to the holiday and first class service. The hotel has amazing views to die for, brilliant health spa and pool and loads of free parking. The room was stunning , immaculately clean and was beautifully appointed. The first night , we dinned in the Renmor restaurant, we were met by a beautiful girl in a green dress who introduced herself and thanked us for coming. Nice start to the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and very nicely presented, we ended up eating in the restaurant 3 times as it as so good. Breakfast was again first class and there was a food choice, nothing too much trouble and the young serving team had obviously been well trained. The Terrace restaurant was not quite so good, i understand they are trying to differentiate the eating experiences but the food a little unimaginative. Having visited the hotel last year, I genuinely felt that the level of service was even better this year, staff everywhere waiting to help, always kind and attentive without being obsequious. We had a great holiday and will certainly go back to The Headland next year. Thank you.
