We just had an amazing family meal here (7 People) The food was amazing, especially the Fillet Steak which was part of the 2/3 course set menu (although with a supplement) and so still worked out cheaper with a starter and dessert The atmosphere was quiet, so you could hold a conversation across the table, and the service was fast, friendly and professional We would definitely recommend this place to family & friends and would certainly return in the future
I've been to several Miller and Carter so knew what to expect but this 1 fell a lottle short. Mains was lovely, but we were actually full from it despite having starters. 3 of us ordered of the festive menu. Pate starter was lovely. Prawn cocktail starter was bland. We all had steak mains and enjoyed it. Desserts were a bit disappointing, and the cheesecake was deconstructed, which it didn't say on the menu, but it did call them spheres. My sundae was nothing like a Sunday. Other than it contained oce cream. Our server was good but went in her break part way through, and the person looking after us didn't come over once despite the fact we were ready to order more drinks. In the end, we didn't order more drinks and just got the bill. We then had a drink in the bat. We ordered champagne by the glass it was flat, I told them and they remade, again it was flat as they'd just poured from the same bottle which, surprise, was still flat. So I asked this time to exchange for a cocktail and a pint which was cheaper than 2 glasses of champagne but we were offered no money back, it was a manager who served us.
Wonderful food and amazing service provided by Eva; was extremely friendly and courteous and answered any questions we had about the menu. We were seated straight away and within 10 minutes Eva was taking down our order. Didn’t wait long at all for the food to arrive and it was delicious! Highly recommend the lamb!
Miller & Carter was amazing! Food portions very good, well made, lovely seasoning. The "dirty burger" was great. The fish dishes were very tasty as well. We had a great time with our friends. Everyone wants to come back!
Excellent service from start to finish. We we're greeted at the door by a member of staff who lead us to our table then introduced our waitress. The waitress then went through the menu explaining the dishes. The meals were very substantial and excellent quality, as were the cocktails. An excellent visit from start to finish.
