Built in 1801 this pub spent many years as a beerhouse and butcher. Originally the Kings Head it has had several name changes before settling on the current one in 2007 after a complete refurbishment and the introduction of an over 21's policy.
It is well known for its friendly welcome and good food made with fresh local produce. There is discounted beer every Wednesday. There is an outside patio, but parking is limited. Quiz night the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.
