Surrounded by lush green fields, The Hare and Hounds is West London’s country pub - just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Hounslow. A beautiful old pub with a stylish interior and super outdoor space, it’s the perfect spot for fresh food or an alfresco drink.
Nice atmosphere in a country setting with plenty of seating outdoors and inside too. The food was definitely so much better than a few years ago, when it was a bit hit and miss. I had the courgette risotto, and my friend had fish and chips, and both were delicious! It is a great pub to relax and enjoy a drink or meal. It's dog friendly too. The only slight downside is that the food is a little pricey, but everything else is great.
I don't do reviews often but I was really impressed with the service in this place. There were 6 of us and we had three babies under 6 months so needed a table spacious enough to have the prams near. Place was nice and warm too and separate baby change which was handy. We felt very welcome and ended up staying for hours. We will definitely be back.
I went to eat with my daughter and a friend on November 9. There was a cold wind outside that day. Entering the pub, we got into the atmosphere of good music, wonderful interior and home comfort. We were met by the service staff. Communication and service at the highest level. I love "Fish and fries" and I can honestly say that it was the tastiest at this place than anywhere else I've ever eaten. My daughter ordered a vegan burger and was also happy. We also had the opportunity to drink the wine we love. We have not chosen this place for the first time and received delicious food, wine, excellent service and an extremely pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Lovely pub with a great outdoor space, the staff is extremely nice and the food very tasty. We came as a big group of 6 adults and 6 kids and everything went really well. We received a warm welcome even though we arrived quite late, the waitress was of great help for choosing the food as one of the kid has severe allergies, our table was in a nice sunny spot of the pub and we took out desert and coffees outside next to the playground. We really recommend this place and would be happy to come back.
Stunning old pub with modern decor. Huge and varied outside areas, some glass covered so you can see the trees! All the food that went past me looked great. Big separate dining area, with big comfy booths and large tables. Lots of parking and right beside a big garden centre. They also do themed nights and garden events. Nice. Very dog friendly.
