It was the only choice as all other pubs were closed on a Tuesday
As country pubs go this is a nice one Bar manager was very polite and friendly Even going as far as looking for a camp site for us whilst we had our beverage of choice, as I had mentioned that I would like to stay in the area sometime soon and visit the bar again
Bit cold when we went in but it was a nice place. Busy. Good range of beers. We didn't stay over or eat.
Small village pub where you can have your pint or decent meal. Very cosy interior decorated with items reflecting publican's passion to horse racing.
Girl behind the bar didn’t seem to know much about the menu and kept disappearing from behind the bar. No children’s menu but was told we could have child sized portions of anything on the menu but we were then charged full price. Didn’t want an argument so accepted a small reduction. Visited on a Saturday mid afternoon, it wasn’t busy but it was really cold in there so we had to keep our coats on. Probably won’t visit again.
